In a more conversational tone: “So, here’s the latest scoop on the 2023 presidential election in Nigeria. President Bola Tinubu isn’t at the Presidential Elections Petitions Tribunal right now as they’re about to announce the verdict. What’s happening there is Atiku Abubakar from the PDP and Peter Obi from the Labour Party are challenging Tinubu’s victory as the APC candidate.

But, interestingly, you’ve got Nigeria’s vice president, Kashim Shettima, Tinubu’s right-hand man Femi Gbajabiamila, APC’s national chairman Abdullahi Ganduje, and a few governors from the party inside the courtroom at the moment.

What’s kind of wild is that President Tinubu isn’t even in the country right now. He hopped over to India to attend the G20 Summit after being invited by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Quite the timing, I must say!”

During the trip, President Tinubu is expected to deliver keynote speeches at the Nigeria-India presidential roundtable and business conference on the sidelines of the summit.

At a meeting with business leaders & captains of industry from Nigeria and India, President Tinubu said: “I don’t have free lunch to serve you… don’t keep quiet, don’t be frightened to bring investments. Bring it on. I have a team. I am the captain of that team. I assure you, we solve problems.”

Reacting to Tinubu’s comments, Sunil Bharti Mittal, an Indian billionaire businessman and philanthropist said: “Mr. President, I have heard many presidential speeches. You dispensed with your written speech, and this read excellent. You spoke from your heart.”

The G-20 is made up of countries that constitute 80 percent of the global GDP and house 60 percent of the world’s population, representing a powerhouse of economic opportunity and stability.
