Tinubu Summons Buhari, Obasanjo, Jonathan, Others For Council Of State Meeting .
The statement reads: “President Bola Tinubu Summons Council of State Gowon, IBB, Abdusalami, Obasanjo, Jonathan, Buhari Others for a meeting today.
President Bola Tinubu has summoned a meeting of the Council of State, comprising former leaders and top government officials, to address pressing national issues.
In a press statement issued by the Presidency, the meeting slated for today, Tuesday, will bring together former Presidents Yakubu Gowon, Ibrahim Babangida, Abdulsalami Abubakar, Olusegun Obasanjo, Goodluck Jonathan, and Muhammadu Buhari; former Chief Justices of Nigeria; President of the Senate; Speaker of the House of Representatives; all 36 State Governors and Minister of Justice and Attorney General of the Federation.
The statement reads: “President Bola Tinubu Summons Council of State Gowon, IBB, Abdusalami, Obasanjo, Jonathan, Buhari Others for a meeting today.
“The Council of State consists of the following persons: the President, who is the Chairman; Vice-President, who is the Deputy Chairman; all former Presidents of the Federation and all former Heads of the Government of the Federation.
“All former Chief Justices of Nigeria; President of the Senate; Speaker of the House of Representatives; all the Governors of the states of the Federation; the minister of Justice and Attorney General of the Federation.”
